im not running it down either but as far as running it off a larger tank it would take all the portablity away. It would be nice for the wheel shack i would think

sounds like it could be a pretty cool auger.   one thing i would be concerned about is all the little green bottles left behind on the ice.  as i will be in the market to buy another new one again i will be concidering this one against the 4 stroke strikemaster

I have to wonder if it will work as poorly as most other things on the green bottle after it gets half empty when it is colder than a coal diggers behind? Guess we will have to see.

Just some updated information on the auger...

One of my Reps saw the auger in person yesterday and played with it for a while.  He told me he was totally impressed.  It was everything he expected.  He started it numerous times with only a six inch cord pull.  Plus, he also said that Jiffy is now promoting that the auger will now drill between 75 and 100 holes per bottle.

On another note, Jiffy is completely sold out of this auger already.  Many places will not be able to carry the auger as they never got their order in soon enough.  Dakota Angler is not one of those places.  We will be one of only a handful of dealers that will be carrying the auger.  Looking forward to seeing it soon.

I also spoke with Jiffy directly and it is true. All of this years production of the Pro4 Propane augers are spoken for and yes only a limited amount of these are being distributed in each region.

You guys can thank Todd for his forward thinking and ordering his stock of inventory early as he will be one of the lucky few to get this product delivered as well as all the other goodies he ordered for us!!!!

As far as what I have heard and seen this auger will impress a lot of people this year.

I am looking forward to a great season this year.

I will keep everyone advised on the further testing of these great products.
